Dave Turnquist has been the owner and webmaster of LaPorteTexas.Net since 1998. The site was originally created as a class project by Dave and his students at La Porte High School to create a community website for La Porte, which at that time had no real web page dedicated to promote the community and serve as a free information portal for the public. Today Dave can be found riding around the city in his silver SUV with the San Jac Real Estate logos on the door.
