Central Park
While it may not quite be as spectacular as Central Park in New York, it is still one of the larger and more versatile parks in La Porte. This 4.6 acre park has a lighted roller hockey rink that provides the city's youth and adults with a good skate facility year-round. The park also has a picnic area, a swimming pool, playground equipment, and the Evelyn Kennedy Civic Center. The park is located at 618 San Jacinto, at the corner of San Jacinto and G Street.
