Little Cedar Bayou Park
Located at 600 Little Cedar Bayou Drive, this is the crown jewel of the park system in La Porte. The park, which consists of 48.7 acres, has something for everyone. The developed part of the park has 2 tennis courts, 4 girls (lighted) softball fields that are home to LaPorte Girl's Softball. It also has 2 soccer fields (1 lighted). The main attraction of the park is the 350,000 gallon Little Cedar Bayou Wave Pool that has many visitors from La Porte and surrounding areas. There is also a large picnic area which features horseshoe pits and play equipment. The undeveloped part of Little Cedar Bayou Park has a nature trail that terminates at Galveston Bay. The nature trail is accessible from the main park entrance as well as from Broadway.
