Sylvan Beach Park and Pavilion
This park dates back to the 19th century when the trains used to come through La Porte with visitors from all over the USA. Now the park is owned by Harris County and part of it is leased by the City of La Porte. This, the largest and most popular park in La Porte, features an enormous playground with various playground equipment, BBQ grills, picnic tables, a gazebo, the pavilion, and a lighted fishing pier that extends 1/4 mile into Galveston Bay. The Sylvan Beach Pavilion Available for rentals: weddings, dances, trade shows, conferences, parties, etc.
Rentals Fees range from $150 - $2100 per event
Capacity: 510 - 800 depending on setup
